Adventure cinema returns to the Midlands in 2022

Once again, Adventure Cinema will be back in the Midlands region this summer with a whole host of safe and spacious open-air events to be held in a variety of locations from medieval castles to country estates.

Bringing an eclectic mix of classics, musicals, big blockbusters and family films, Adventure Cinema will be celebrating 50 years of ABBA with Mamma Mia! and Elton's 75th birthday year with Rocketman. Crowds can also sing along with Grease and The Greatest Showman and enjoying a spot of Dirty Dancing, some Pulp Fiction, a sprinkling of Harry Potter and a trip to Jurassic Park.

In addition, there will be screenings of Steven Spielberg’s brand new, critically acclaimed adaptation of iconic musical West Side Story.

We attended the Leicester event last year (coverage here) and they hope to go even bigger with the 2022 events. With people still cautious about attending big events, Adventure Cinema assure film fans that their shows over summer are outdoors and will be following all relevant government guidelines.

The events take place all over the UK, including for the first time Scotland, but for the Midlands grab a ticket, pack a picnic, camping chairs and blanket, and check out the local screenings below.
