Summer screenings with Adventure Cinema return for 2024

Pack a picnic as Adventure cinema returns to the Midlands!


Tickets are now available for the 2024 Adventure Cinema season which will be visiting some of the most picturesque locations across the UK – including many right here in our region.


With over 300 outdoor cinema shows planned, all you have to do is buy a ticket, pack your picnic, camping chairs and blanket and join other film fans in a host of amazing outside landscapes.


Whether under the stars at breathtaking National Trust houses, medieval castles or beautiful country estates, their shows offer an unforgettable experience and with their summer shows across the region you’re never gone be too far from an outdoor cinema night.


So take a step back in time at sites nestled away all over the countryside as these stately homes and grand houses will create a unique backdrop for a truly unique film watch-along.


As always, they bring you an eclectic mix of classics, musicals, big blockbusters and family films to enjoy under the sun and stars including hit favourites like Mama Mia, Pretty Woman, Harry Potter, Top Gun, Dirty Dancing & tons more.


Flexibly, attendees can also bring their own food and snacks to all Adventure Cinema events but be warned – all events are outdoor and will go ahead whether rain or shine!

On Sunday 26th April Midlands Movies Editor Michael Sales & awards ceremony co-host Ed Stagg (BBC Radio) announced the nominations for the 2026 Midlands Movies Awards live from the Queen of Bradgate Vintage Cinema in Leicester.
