Midlands Spotlight on the Midlands Film Archive
The Midlands Film Archive is a showcase of films made by talented creatives living or originating from the Midlands, UK. Midlands-based filmmakers are scattered far and wide across the reaches of the internet.
With so many great examples of storytelling available, they decided to help celebrate that talent by putting the best of them in one place for you to enjoy.
After launching in April, the archive has new grown to include over 100 original titles, proving the need for such a platform whilst celebrating the Midlands talent that has often been overlooked. They have a dedicated panel who vary in disciplines from the film and creative industry to ensure the very best films are found and featured on the platform fairly.

"We're passionate about finding new voices, discovering talents and showcasing existing creatives. By creating a platform that shines a spotlight on such a vibrant and diverse region, we're making it our mission to ensure that quality films made in the Midlands have a permanent home at the Midlands Film Archive".
The Midlands Film Archive was founded by award winning film director Daniel Alexander who has been passionate about creating opportunities for independent filmmakers in the Midlands region.
