Black Country Horror Film Festival
Coming soon on the 13th November 2021, the Black Country Horror Film festival will be screening 15 of the best horror films sent in from filmmakers around the globe.
The event will be taking place at The Bonded Warehouse in Stourbridge in the West Midlands. An event for short horror films of around 10 minutes, the festival had already had to switch their launch date twice owing to the UK’s Covid restrictions on large gatherings.
However, with restrictions easing in the future, the festival looks more certain than ever to take place later in the year.
Coordinated by Alan Birch (Inspector Drake) and writer A.G. Smith of Weeping Bank Productions, the festival is excited to return after their many delays.
And if all goes to plan, then you can expect the overall winner and three runners up to receive the BCHSFF glass trophy plus all winners (including any highly recommended) will receive The Black Country Horror Shorts laurel to add to their film.
The film entries were selected through their FilmFreeway submission process and an experienced panel of judges from the world of horror will evaluate films to decide the winners.
The entry to the festival begins at 7.30pm with the films screening from 8.00pm and a finish at 10.00pm all on Saturday 13th November. Tickets cost £10.00 each and can be purchased by clicking the link below.
The evening will end with the screening of the three runners up and the overall winner, followed by the presentation of prizes.
