Adventure Cinema comes to the Midlands

4 days of open-air cinema, local street food, live comedy and a specially-curated short film programme is coming to the region this Summer courtesy of Adventure Cinema.

Film & Food Fest is a brand-new touring festival for Summer 2021, visiting 15 major city parks across the UK. Each event will feature 4 days of outdoor cinema with classic movies and recent releases, stand-up comedy, local street food and short films from regional filmmakers.

After a year of being stuck indoors, Adventure Cinema are asking film fans to join them for socially spacious film events with blockbuster films, beers, speciality gins and cocktails and carefully selected street food stalls.

Serving burgers to bruschetta to crepes and caramel ice-cream, the festival hopes to be an opportunity to experience great food and drink whilst relaxing and watching your favourite film.

There are 15 event locations throughout the UK with the Midlands dates below:
  • LEICESTER 1ST - 4TH JULY
  • NOTTINGHAM 15TH - 18TH JULY
  • WOLVERHAMPTON 9TH - 12TH SEP
  • NORTHAMPTON 16TH - 19TH SEP

In addition, the region’s filmmakers can get involved as Thursday evenings at each screening will feature a showcase of short movies from independent filmmakers. Highlighting the work of local creatives, they hope to give audiences an exclusive chance to see some fantastic new cinema.

In addition, they will be donating £2 from every ticket sold to support the local film organisations within each city.

If you are a short filmmaker and would like to submit your work for consideration, please email info@filmandfoodfest.com

Adventure Cinema are also offering a 100% money back guarantee should anything mean events cannot go ahead. They will refund the full amount that you paid for your tickets, including the booking fee.

They are also ensuring they are fully compliant with government restrictions on social distancing and all events have toilet facilities, including accessible facilities.

Guests of any age can attend but those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. The film certification always applies, so they are asking attendees to please make sure the film is suitable and of the correct certification.
