Why do pantomime when you can do Alien? A very amateur dramatics group of Dorset Bus Drivers spent a year creating a serious stage adaptation of the sci-fi, horror film, Alien.
Reading through the various synopsises of Redux Redux, the third feature film by writer/director siblings Kevin and Matthew McManus, I can’t help but wonder if they do the film a disservice.
The repeating day formula is the groundwork (hog?) set-up for a new local short made in Leicester which explores the attempts to prevent a deathly accident.
Apparently a favourite of Quentin Tarantino and Edgar Wright, Strongroom peaked my interest given those director’s recommendations as well as my own New Year goal to watch more under-the-radar classic movies.
