Local film director looking for producer and cast for new film Blue

Birmingham director Ruth Holder is advertising producer and cast opportunities for her next short film production Blue.

Blue is a Cyberpunk-inspired short film that follows two young women who are struggling to find their purpose in life.

Its synopsis tells the story of a future United Kingdom where two amateur bounty-hunters band together to rescue a runaway child. The child is believed to be the key to stopping the reign of their corrupt government.

But the film poses the question whether they have they bitten off more than they can chew?

Ruth is specifically looking for a producer in Birmingham who would be interested in working with her on this project.

“I'm currently looking for cast too, to put together a list of potential actors and actresses for the film”.

Ruth is looking for two black actresses aged between 18-21 who are from Birmingham

She is also looking for a black actor aged between 40-50 who can also film around Birmingham.

Finally Ruth is looking for Birmingham cosplayers aged between 18-25 for specific scenes in the film.

Attached is a casting call which has additional information on it and if you are interested then please contact or message Ruth Holder on her social media.
