Twin brothers from Herefordshire are heading to Los Angeles after their video production company, JRNVisuals, was shortlisted for Best Independent Film at the International Motor Film Awards 2026.

James and Robert Newby, both 24, are the founders of Herefordshire-based film production company JRNVisuals and have been recognised for their work on a promotional film for Rotors & Motors.

The film was shot at Shobden Airfield and has been nominated in the Best Independent Film category at the International Motor Film Awards, which celebrates filmmaking and creative talent from across the automotive industry.

Created to capture the scale and excitement of Rotors & Motors, the film brings together high-performance cars, helicopters and cinematic aerial filming. At the heart of the production is a dramatic runway chase sequence, combining the speed of the cars on the ground with helicopters in the air.

The nomination will now take the Herefordshire brothers all the way to Los Angeles in November, where they will attend the awards ceremony at the world-renowned Petersen Automotive Museum.

James and Robert have built a reputation for delivering high-quality visual storytelling through JRNVisuals, producing television advertisements broadcast and creating content for clients across the UK. James is also an experienced drone pilot, bringing a unique perspective to the company's filmmaking capabilities.

The International Motor Film Awards celebrate excellence in automotive film, television and media, with previous winners including major productions such as Baby Driver, Ford v Ferrari, Top Gear and No Time to Die.

The awards are judged by respected industry figures including former Stig Ben Collins, Oscar-winning stunt coordinator Vic Armstrong and television presenter and racing driver Tiff Needell.
