Flatpack 2020 The Home Entertainment Edition
The fourteenth edition of the film festival has been adapted during the current COVID-19 situation to bring the festival to your home!
The new programme kicks off on Friday 1 May running for a fortnight - all of it free to enjoy and accessible without leaving your house. Programmes will be launching on the website daily from 1 May.

Family audiences will be well served with two special Colour Box programmes and a range of activities to try out at home. Colour Box 1: A Short Hop from 2-10th May recommended for age 0-6 years and Colour Box 2: In Full Swing from 9-17 May recommended for ages 7 upwards
Screedance Shorts - For the first time this year, Flatpack presents a dance film competition programme, co-curated with Birmingham-based screen dance director and producer Sima Gonsai.
Flatpack is a registered charity and has been presenting fresh, playful film events in Birmingham and beyond since the festival emerged from a monthly film night in a Digbeth pub fifteen years ago. The Home Entertainment edition will be presented entirely free of charge, but viewers are encouraged to donate and support Flatpack’s work if possible.
